The North Esk River

The North Esk is well known for recreational activities both in and alongside the river including fishing, canoeing, and cycling. As well as these human-use values, the North Esk is a life-giving resource for the many plant and animal species that rely on this waterway.

In this video we explore how local farmers are doing their part to protect and enhance riparian vegetation and ecosystems of the North Esk and its tributaries.
